"This painting was a lot of fun. I tried to emulate an early morning fishing trip where the air is still misty and the banks are shadowed and with that brilliant light shining off the surface of the water. To make this painting actually sparkle, I added actual Gold Leaf to the highlighted water ripples. The gold catches light from any source in the home and will sparkle even in almost no lighting at all. It's amazing." Mario
