"This gorgeous pen was made from wood that was given to me as a gift from a pen designer. I had said I was looking for something really special for a good friend and I mentioned that she loved purple. He had dyed this Big Leaf Maple Burl weeks earlier and mentioned he had the perfect piece. The rest as they say is history. I accented this beautiful wood with Golden Leaf Burl and African Ebony.
